Yea. The most unhealthy fat on the body is on the belly and love handles. But as long as you don't gain more than 5 lbs and continue to exercise, you should be fine.

Elizabeth, It is best to counteract those extra calories with extra exercise, though once a week is not enough. You should really step it up to at least three, and if you tend to eat more in the cooler months, maybe even four work out sessions per week for 30 minutes each.

A little bit of fat in the belly is ok as long as you don't exceed your Body Mass Index. When you start getting fat in the oblique extensions ( love handles) that's when a warning sign that you have to take action.

A little extra belly fat won't hurt, but if there is too much then it can cause problems.

Doctors recommend your waist should be no more than 32 inches. But I'd think it would also vary with height.

This is just my opinion but no a little belly fat is ok. what is unheathly is your over all body fat. there are sites that will help you find yours using age, race, and gender. most women carry fat in belly and hips. nothing serious as long as you work out and try to eat healthy. also i see nothing wrong with one work out a week. they say 3 days of cardio is usually best. i look at it like "hey least you are working out" most dont even try. also try adding extra protein and calcium. hope that helps

As long as it's not too much, i'd say its alright. I have a little on my stomach.

No, it isn't. It's better to have a little extra than to have too little, also.
