My brother says he didn't want to work in the family business, did the lecture circuit instead, convinced the crowd but failed to convince the armed services.

Thank you Tom for helping me with my spelling.

Historical proof suggests that he did exist, as you have acknowledged. However, you are right in thinking that there is no proof that he performed any miracles. Thing is, he couldn't, it goes against the laws of nature, and science is striving to explain the origins of the universe. Ergo, Christianity is based solely on faith, as we already knew- it is not based on fact or any evidence. People may say the reverse: "give me proof that he was a fraud". But, sadly, modern scientific method dictates that, without proof, you must throw away your belief. This is what people have failed to do, even when the origins of life have been explained by evolution.

No he was not and is not ,I have being telling people for a very long time ,it seems that they are so full of themselves that they think because they have got away with so much in their lives, that if there was why has he not dealt with them ,well that is out of love .but even now he can and does deal with some of these, you see when you attack anyone that he has sent to do his work and you hurt such then you will see how quick he can strike ,so i say do not ,there may not be a lot of them and will look like fools ,but they are very special to God and can be hard to understand ,they do little in their own strength so beware!

No, He was the real deal.
There are over 5000 copies of the new testament existing dated 50-70 years from the time Jesus lived. They are Greek and Aramaic scroll found near the dead sea. The events told therin are within the same generation as Jesus.

5000 copies compared to several hundred copies of other historical documents considered accurate. (I.E. The Iliad by Homer -around 650 copies)

The Bible is a highly validated historical document by shear numbers of copies existing dated within the same generation as Jesus Christ. It is a trust worthy historical document . . .

Numerous sources from Ancient Rome and Jerusalem confirm that the man Jesus Christ existed. They also confirm multiple parts of His life story in the Bible.

However, your belief on this matter depends on whether or not you believe in Him. If you do, then He was not a fraud. If not, then you believe that He was a fraud.

I say that He was the real deal.

Fundos who stupidly claim He is the only way, do not help Him much!
I personally do not think He was a fraud (I am a Hindu) but if any one claims that it would mean that the Bible and the Quran are works of fiction. Quran ,because it mentions Christ.

I think the real question is whether he lived in the first place. Lack of evidence points to no. Problem is that Jesus is a very common name (only its pronounced hayzeus) and some idiots seem to think that because a very few writings have been found, that he must have existed, even if the stupid writings only mentioned something like the hayzeus ate a fruit. Its called "desperation to prove ones religion true so you don't feel like you wasted your whole life".

His name was Yeshua. He was a Torah observant Jew. He was the Passover lamb sent to cleanse the sin of man. He did not fail, His blood paved the Way to the Father. No, He was not a fraud. Shalom.

If you don't change your beliefs, both you, your brother, and all the unbelievers will at some point bow down to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and say amen to your own condemnation.
