can you help me interpret my dream? last night I had a dream that my next-door-neighbor(aka the love of my life but not my boyfriend.. i don't even know if he feels the same) and i were naked and covered in mud and just sitting next to each other and looking into each other's eyes..

actually i was covering myself in mud and he came outside and was already covered.. and then i had a hose and i was washing myself off.. and i squirted him and he came over and we just stared at each other..
as for when i looked into his eyes i wondered what he saw... and i am kind of covering things up about myself.. like that i'm depressed(but i'm not really covering that up) and that i cut myself(definitely cover that up)..

Even though your neighbor is the "love of your life", you hide your feelings from him by covering yourself in mud. He too, covers himself in mud to hide his true feelings from you. You want him to know the real you so you wash the mud from your body, revealing to him your true feelings. He stares at you because for the first time he is seeing the real you. When you wash the mud off of him, you are telling him that you want to get to know more about him. By him letting you wash the mud from him is his way of opening himself up to you.
This sounds like someone you really trust and would like to confide your problems to. I think your dream is telling you to trust your instincts about this person, especially if you are depressed and cutting yourself. Not only do you need a friend that will stand by you, but you need help with this problem. Please get whatever help you need. There are groups that deal with depression and medications that can be prescribed for short term use. Depression can lead to suicide and your life is not worth losing when you can get the help you need. Start first with this guy. Every character in a dream is really a part of you, although they present as other people you know or don't know. So ask yourself.......what were you looking at, when you were looking into your own eyes and what did you see? Also, you were covered in mud....are you covering up some feelings, or hiding a part of yourself for some reason?

Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head. You're covering up your feelings for him and the desire for him to like you. It's hard to cover up depression - I had it one summer and I tried to but couldn't.

i think it means that you are really comfortable with being next door neighbor. If I had dream like that I would be freaked out.
