How do I convert a drawing into an Outline in - Photoshop

(Photoshop CS2)

Filter -> Blur -> Smart Blur

Then choose High Quality and Edge Only

Change the radius and threshold values until you get a black image with good white lines. Click OK.

You now have the image made into a black drawing with white lines drawn. Just go to Image -> Adjustments -> Invert

Done!

You may need to practice with the amount of radius and threshold in each image to get the results you want, but this generally works great for doing what you want.
