Being blessed with the indwelling of God's Holy Spirit does not mean we then know everything perfectly! Those who are gifted the Holy Spirit start off as spiritual babies and they need the milk of God's word (the Bible) to start growing. Eventually they should be on to the strong 'meat' of the word, but sadly a lot of people remain spiritual babies all of their lives here on earth. That accounts for a great deal of divergence!

Another reason is due to spiritual arrogance. A lot of people who do have the Holy Spirit and have grown in understanding can become proud - the Holy Spirit no longer 'mixes' with them as it's like oil and water. But they continue to think they have great understanding and insist others must agree with them.

The worst arrogance comes from those who think they have the Holy Spirit but they do not. Look for the humble, the meek, the quiet believers who just get on with honoring God in their daily lives. There you find the unity of the Spirit amongst all such, irrespective of denomination or nationality.

Even if the 10 people are very righteous by their moral systems and have good fruit, they are still humans saying human belief. You can believe whatever you want, but it does not change the facts.

Scriptures are written by men who will often misinterpret the message. Many people and messages get manipulated to suit somebody's power agenda.

Don't look at the differences, look at the similarities.

I guess every child of God deserves some ammount of personal revelation if they are whortly of it, in my opinion it is a matter of faith not of religion.

Ask each how they feel about abortion ?
Ask each how they feel about captial punishment ?
Ask each how they feel about the war in Iraq ?
Ask each how they feel about fighting in the war ?
Ask each how they feel about defending their loved ones ?
Ask each who do they believe and trust in ?
Ask each who is their savior ?
Why ?

I feel abortion is wrong for any reason.
I feel capital punishment is wrong for any reason.
I feel wars are wrong for any reason.
I will never kill anyone.
I will never defend the ones I love.
I believe and trust in Jesus the Christ.
My savior is Jesus the Christ.
He died so that I may know the truth.

The Bible states that there will be false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing. The Bible in Matthew 7:16 says that you will know them by their fruits.

I asked this question yesterday. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AiP9FU6vzcPKuRBY.qU60jTsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071119120033AAOEgrl

Apparently the answer is: Demons are tricking people. They can perfectly imitate the Holy Spirit, etc.

(Which doesn't explain then how any inspiration can be accepted, since any of them could just be demons...)
