i heard about these tibetan monks which meditated for years and were martial artists. they said that if u belive there is like a for eg stepping stone in the air and u belive it hard enough there will be one. and u can then step through mid air. they belive that gravity is an illusion. what do u think of this

It's a metaphor only to illustrate the power of the mind.

Don't try it literally, even tibetan monks cannot float in mid-air.

As for you being sick and wanting to train, I can relate to that as I CANNOT stand not being able to train. Just remember the chinese proverb: "do nothing today so you can do something tomorrow".

If you don't let your body heal, it won't recover, if it doesn't recover fully, you won't able to train 100%.

good luck!

Yes, I have heard something similar while attending a Huo ti & Chi meditation and Marrow Washing class... in the exercise a person lies on their back and "looses" their mass and weight from gravity and is lifted by other... very light as a feather stiff as a board...

At any rate the Whole point isn't to change the world around you or physics but to change the way you react to the world. To raise your metabolism when it is cold out so that you stay warm. This practice instead refocuses your weight into the most balanced position, creating a feeling of weightlessness. If you don't understand think of performing a handstand... if your body is balanced above your arms it is Very simple almost effortless but if you are not balanced it is Exhausting. So Gravity is always their but our perseption of it is illusion.

Who teaches you Shuai Jiao? It is an excellent art. Most experts say it is the original Chinese art from which all others come.
