Would there be less arguing?

Would a world full of atheists have less to fight over than a world full of christians?

Would the whole "works vs grace" debate rage on if we were all christian..

Would the whole "bible literal, vs bible allegory" debate rage on if we were all christian?

Atheists (from my own personal experience), do nothing BUT argue. We revel in it, that's why science moves so quickly. We debate arguments and ideas, and discard the useless ones.

Well, in truth that's not really just atheists. Any rationalist does that, and to be fair there are some non-rational atheists. But by and large, that's (the above) a fairly accurate generalization.

A world full of Christians....well, when there was one united Church in Europe, they had a little thing called the Dark Ages. It's track record is 0-1.

So in a world of atheists, no less argument, just less killing and darkness.

I don't think everyone will ever become atheist, as in not believing in something supernatural. However, more and more people are becoming some religion like Buddhist or Wiccan-some consider that atheist. I think some will find something to argue and/or fight about anyway. Look at Hitler. He used astrology and Christianity-specifically the Catholic church, for his gain.
In the 'Dark Ages', most of Europe was Christian, or too scared to say otherwise, and look at the horrors they did to each other , claiming they were too Christian or weren't Xian enough.
So, no...I think there will always be arguing and/or fighting as long as there are humans.

Which denomination of Christianity? Christians argue amongst each other all the time. Just ask them which day of the week is the Sabbath or whether or not the Trinity is real. Besides if everyone was one religion, we would just find something else to fight about. Besides we Atheists love to argue anyway.

We will always have something to argue about. That is human nature, the big difference is how we argue.

You don't typically see Scientists in a cage match over evolutionary tree opinions. But religious people tend to find a way to include violence as a debate tool.

Atheist are far more open to dialog and therefore less likely to war.

Christians on the other hand are swift to the sword if they aren`t accepted as being better..
History proves christians will war amoung themselves if they can`t find anyone else to war with...!!

Watch the Go God Go two parter episode of South Park - if we were all atheist we'd be fighting with super-intelligent sea otters over what we should call ourselves.

And even if we weren't we'd be fighting with the French-Chinese over Hawaii.

If we were all Christian or Atheist, there would still be fights and arguments, if only because not everyone would agree on what it means to be Christian or Atheist.

HA! There'd probably be more fighting! Look at how many Christians there are....now look at how many different factions of Christianity there are....and each one is convinced they are the only ones who are right!

It would give people one less thing to fight over if we were all atheists. However, we would still fight over land, money, oil, water rights, etc.

The world war or arguing is due to human thinking and not because of religion...................
if the whole become atheist/christian, the world still wont be peace............................
get it...........
it is not the matter what religion are you, but how you think
