God already prophecized in the Bible that Satan would take over the world and bring havoc to humanity for seven years then sent to hell and back to bring havoc to earth yet again!
Finally Satan is defeated by God and sent to burn in hell for all eternity.

If God said His creations got free will then how come God has Satans future so clearly stated a long time before it actually happens?

If God has foreknowledge on what Satan would become even before He created Satan the sure as hell God has the future of every single human foretold in His head!

It is funny that God speaks of Himself as loving and forgiving and gives free will to His creations but has already judged Satan a long time ahead of time.

Satan in a thousand years might get bore and realize that he can't fight God. Satan should know the best since he has witnessed Gods power and even was defeated once!

If Satan is not a robot he should be asking for atonement anytime soon!

God however already shut the door!

If you say that Satan is beyond remorse and God just knows it then God has Satans future predestinated!

If Satan got free will then as wise as he is would definately ask God for forgiveness!

Satan is not a dumbass!! He is much wiser than humans!

Moreover, it is not like Satan hasn't witnessed Gods powers! He even fought Him once but got defeated!

Is one misserable defeat not clear enough for such a wise being??

The more I write the less sense it makes!

Satan should know better but God already judged him before hand???

You are confused because to you is not given to know the Truth; but to those who are sincerely and yearning for Truth and to all His saints (believers)

How can you understand God with your carnal mind?

Not even in eternity will you ever know HIM, your Creator!

Your rambling does have me confused, although I get the gist of what you are saying.
One thing, satan IS NOT going to ask for forgiveness. Satan openly rebelled God in God's own house. Satan wanted and still wants what God is and what God has. The problem is that God is the Creator and satan is the creation.
The problem with trying to apply the same logic to the relationship with God and satan and US, is that you simply can't.
That might sound like a cop-out answer but it's really not. You are talking about the spiritual world. This earth is not the only world there is and this world is controlled by the spiritual world. We cannot understand the spiritual world. How can we, when most people cannot even agree how this world came into existence.
There are many things that I do not understand, and I do not even try.
God says in His Word "Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my thoughts higher than your thoughts and my ways higher than your ways."
We cannot even begin to comprehend God. He gave us just enough in the bible to be able understand what we need to understand. And He gave us exactly what we could handle, IMHO.

You have to realize God's thinking is on a differant level than a human's. He lives outside of time--and He has to in order to have no beginning and no end. He has already lived in the past (He is in the past), He lives in the present (He is in the present) and He lives in the future (He is in the future), which is why we get accurate prophecy in books like Daniel, Revelation, etc. We are human! We can't think on God's level. Only humans are locked into the constraints of time--a 24 hour day and a 365 day year is all we know.

Before God created Satan (don't forget Satan was a FALLEN angel, he was not created bad), got saw the end and knew Satan would become greedy, would want power for himself and eventually die forever. It's already happened. And like you said, he has seen the beginning and end of our lives already--He has seen before there was time.

Your making several assumptions and the biggest one is that God gave his creations free will. The word "free will" does not exist in the bible and is never mentioned. Rather the word Pre-destined, Ordained, and foreknowledge are words found in the bible. There exists some Christians who do believe in free will and they are classified as Arminians or semi-pelagians. This is an intramural debate or discussion amongst Christians. I happen to be Augustinian or a soveriegn grace believer which agrees with the biblical statement that God Ordains and pre-destines the future and that we soveriegnly obey or disobey him by conforming to an enslaved will. That is our wills are enslaved either to our genetic defect known as sin and are slaves to sin and death. Or we have been freed from that enslaved will to a will enslaved by God's Spirit. It's funny that while people abject to the idea that we do not have free wills noone ever imagines that in heaven we will have "free wills" and therefore can actually sin in heaven. The idea of free will or autonomy was first proposed by the devil to Eve, namely that we can be like God as gods or autnomous free beings like GOD, therefore Able to decide for OURselves good and bad. You made a good point that the notion of free will eventually usurps the existence of God or at least a GOD who knows the future. And that is the point that Christians like myself make to those christians who believe in free will. There are those who have taken your very VERY GOOD observation and eventually believe that God does not know the future with certainty and call this Open-Thiesm or Free Will Thiesm.

Its hard to answer this question (for myself at least) since I do not take the Bible as literal. Meaning, the Bible also stated God created all things in 7 days....? Ok, 7 days to US or to HIM? (well I guess it was 6 days, as he rested on the 7th, but anywhoooooo)

I do not see the Bible as a direct line of communication from God, but written by MAN (the apostles for example), "inspired by God and his teachings, prophets, etc). It is open to some interpretation. If NOT - we would still not allow women to wear jewelry in church, men to have sex with women on their periods, etc. You can't "selectively interpret" versus from the Bible - you either take it LITERALLY or interpret it from the context it was written.

With that being said - the answer to your ? I know this will get me a lot of "boo hoos" but.....here 'goes....I think Satan is a concept - not an actual "being." Satan, for me, is all things that keep us away from God, whatever form that is, and sidetracks us from being the best we can be. I do believe God is a loving and forgiving Spirit who gives us free will to chose the roads we pursue. Some of the roads are distracting, others more productive in helping us love one another.

I don't think he "judged Satan." I think HE - or whatever you want to refer to as GOD - knows that evil and distractions will always exist. Always. Is it prejudement? I don't think so, but simply "it is what it is.... that is how the universe was created so they could have free will." If you see Satan as a "creature" or one specific thing, then it would be easy to fall into the trap of seeing it as someone needing forgiveness. But if you look at Satan as a concept, a hurdle we as humans come to deal with on this earth, does it require atonement? I don't see it that way.....

I think it's confusing to you because you are mixing up what is actually prophesied and man's interpretation of what it means.

I don't even pretend to understand it all. Anyone who says they do is lying to us all lol.

To tell the truth, I can't find a verse in the Bible where it says God created Satan. We do know that evil existed as far back as the Garden of Eden because of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Yvonne, We are to follow Christ, but we can't all sacrifice everything so to speak. As some are pastors and others teachers, and so forth. We all have different parts (assignments) to do in this life. Some are called to be evangelists, and other missionaries. No one of us can be everything, or all the same. The true "test" is by the fruit produced. Christians living in their calling produce good results. These can be seen by checking the actions with the Bible and seeing results for the Kingdom of God.

Satan is an angel. God gave free will to humans, but not to angels. I have wondered, too, what would god do if satan repented?

How fun it must be to kick up the mud to make guesses about God's motives, powers, and intentions. Your circular augments are transparent to me and you know what a deceptive argument and biased opinion is so there is no need to explain it to you.

Satan made the choice and he is so blinded by his pride and hate of God that he cannot and would not ask for forgiveness.
