I'm graduating with a B.S in May in a Graphic design related major. How will I find an entry level job when all of them want you to have like 3 years of experience at minimum? I can't get said experience if no one is willing to hire fresh out of school...I'm sure some of you out there have jumped over this hurdle?

I see a lot of postings on craigslist.org or the local newspaper of people in your situation who are offering services for free or discounted rates to build their design portfolio and build references. So you can be kind of self-employed while you're in school and at the same time, try to get some internships as well. Sometimes that will result in a job offer too!

Have you done an internship? Be sure to do that - it gives you some experience you can put on your resume, and also some contacts. Internships are very important for a new college grad to have done.

Good luck.
