How much is my Remington model 30 worth?

It is in pretty good condition. It has a scope mounted on it and I don't know if the scope mount was an original item or not. The number is #90649 and if I've done my research correctly, I believe that it was manufactured June 1923. I don't know much about gun values and I can't see buying the blue book to get the value of one gun.

I am not sure what "pretty good condition" is exactly but will tell you that the weapon in good condition with 60-100% finish, mechanically sound should be worth $from around $200-550 depending on which end of the spectrum yours is on.

I do not believe they made any Model 30's with factory mounts, but rather I would assume they were after market as well as the scope. Hope that helps narrow it down for you.

Remington 700 and Winchester 70....I assume you meant 700? Which version of the 700? Wood or synthetic? Does it have a scope and mounts? Sights? What does "fair" mean....what's wrong with it? With what I know, $300 or 400. The Remington 700 has become the American standard hunting rifle and .30-06 is the best general caliber, so yes, it's great for hunting.

mine has the end of shell in the breech that says 30Rem UMC. That was Union Metallic Cartridge they were bought out by Remington.
