No, I do not think that someone who is 5' 2" and 120 pounds is "fat".

Now i don't know where you live, but with a size 0, the wind would blow you a away. (AM I FAT?) I think the word is not fat but fine. You should be very happy with 5'2" and size 6-7. There a lot of people out there that wish they were your size. And thoughs that don't, like the way they are as you should. Be happy with your size, as I know your friends are happy with you. Besides there is only one person out there that you should half to prove anything to. And that is you. And like the song says, be happy.

Fat is relative. Some people probably think you are fat. Are you expecting an objective answer? A yes or a no? You won't get it. i don't think you are. If the standards are the beauty we see in magazines and the media you are most certainly fat.

The more important questions are, Do you care? If you do, What are you going to do about it.

If you want to lose weight. You probably need 1800-2000 calories a day. Do you eat more than this? If you do you will put on weight steadily. If you reduce your calories by 500 you will lose 1 pound a week. (3500 cal per pound) You can also burn extra calories by exercising.

You are 15 and 120 pounds. You are young and more beautiful than you can appreciate. Our world is corrupt in its views on beauty.

I'm 5'3" and weigh about 120 pounds (118 to 120). It seems a normal weight for me because this is where I have been since high school. I work out regularly (lift weights, cardio, belly dance, pilates, etc.).
I don't think you are fat. But you're not super skinny either, which is a good thing. Learn to accept the size you are. Eat healthy and exercise. Stay active. Get involved in some activities. Don't fret.

Every highschooler thinks they are fat, but the truth is, they are just comparing themselves to other peopl(possibly friends) and see them as size zero, when they probably don't eat much, they have weaker bones and don't eat halthy. If you really want to know the average weight for you is 103-129 so you are in a healthy weight range, I'd just consider exercizing 30 minutes a day(and more if you do a competitive sport, because i do 2 hours and 30 minutes a day) and you will eat healthy and maintain your body weight, which is great! You may even add a few pounds, but that is turning muscle into fat, good luck!!

You're only 15, don't worry! Weight always fluctuate when you're a teen. Just keep active and away from the fatty foods. If you're really worried, go see a doctor and find out if you are healthy! They will also tell you if you need to lose weight or gain weight and inform you of smart ways to do it. I'm healthy at 5'9" and 230lbs and 21yrs, but I DO need to lose weight. I knew that before I went to see the doctor. But even though I am fat, I'm healthy, which is more importatnt than size!

No you are about right. There are a lot of women out there walking around that are pencil thin so I am sure you are comparing yourself to that. They have their problems too. Just make sure you eat sensibly and get enough exercise, sunshine and fresh air. Don't worry so much about your image. You are fine.

Did you ever think that the fashion industry wants us to be size 0 so they can save money in manufacturing of garments? The media shows these celebrities weighing next to nothing as if they are supposed to be the end all, be all model of human anatomy.

Believe me toots being a size zero is not all it is cracked up to be, grass is not always greened on the other side. I am a zero and I can never find close in my size and sometimes the cheaper stores have cute suites, and shirts and so on but they don't carry my size. Like Kmart the smallest pants they sell is a size 4 I think so that is out. Be happy with yourself.
