how do i make it shine and people notice without shoving my hand in their face

thanks to everyone who didnt leave mean comments. i am just excited about getting married and showing the beatiful ring i recieved I don't see why that is so terrible.

Don't increase your hand gestures, it is to obvious and you will look lame.
Just tell people that you got engaged, and they will ask to see the ring.
I didn't tell people, and they noticed anyways..."like, ohhhh I can't stop looking at your ring!"
Its more fun, when people notice on their own, I have been engaged since June, and still (even this week...in November) I had someone saying, "hey since when are you engaged?" If you just tell everybody right now, It will become old news....let people figure it out, and you will be complimented over a longer period of time.
Or, if you must, there are lots of people who posted pictures of their rings on facebook groups....but seriously, don't put it on your profile though.....lots of people think thats lame, and its the same as shoving it in their face....

It always amazes me how petty and controling people can get, even here.
Hun, have fun. Simply tell people the exciting news and they will ask to see the ring. Show it and have fun. This is great and you are right to feel excited. One of my co-workers got engaged 2 weeks ago and the smile on her face was brighter than the ring!

Develop hand gestures that will show your hand. Thats what I did. I smoke and I switched hands to move it around more, besides other things. it gets noticed now but it has grown into a wedding ring!!

Use a toothbrush and blue, regular Dawn dish soap and really hot water. Trust me, I do it with mine and it sparkles like a star! I've had strangers tell me that my ring is beautiful, and its not like I really flaunt it and look like I'm trying to be a show off. People just notice it because it shines.... thank you Dawn dish soap!

Get a great manicure! Try adjusting your earrings, putting your hand in your hair, applying some lip balm. Have fun with it my dear. This is a special time in your life and you have every reason to be excited.

Why would you need to shove it in anyone's face. Just keep it clean with some ammonia and water. Don't buy that stuff in the stores. Ammonia and water do the same thing and it wil sparkle, sparkle.

The monday morning after I got engaged, I walked into the office and greeted everyone. They asked me how my weekend was and I said "great, I got engaged!" It was simple yet not shoving into anyone's face. I waited until they came up to me and asked me how my weekend was.

Fix your hair, rest your chin on your left hand when you're sitting there talking to someone. Anything that brings your hand up into line of sight without being too terribly obvious. Or.....just shove your hand in their face and share your joy with them. There's nothing wrong with being excited about this new chapter in your life.

brush your hair behind your ear with your ring hand a lot (that's what i did). Pretty much just try to keep your hand at eye level. Touch your cheek, rest your head on your hand, etc. people will notice it more if its near your face.

Do you need some attention dear? If you want it to shine, put ina steamer (pot) or stop being cheep and buy a cleaner, or take it to a jewlery store they will gladly clean it for you.
