when I got married I carried a waist to floor length bouquet of Red velvet Gerbera's, Arum lily (just 1 for my nan) lisianthus, jasmine, & ivy. I basically copied my Nan's bouquet from the 1920's when she married (the style not the flowers). The gerbera's were specially dyed for my day to match the men's cravats & the bridesmaids dresses.
I was a maid of honour 4 years ago and I had a sunflower bouquet bout 5 heads in the posy. Very pretty!

She does not might desire to hold something, yet might desire to she choose to, listed below are some recommendations: *a bible *a e book marked with a internet site for a reading in the time of the ceremony *a scroll tied with a especially ribbon (what's written on the scroll might properly be a poem to be study, a letter to grant to her hubby, a letter to grant to her mum and dad or in regulations, her very own vows, and so on) *a eye-catching handkerchief *something with sentimental fee that could desire to be suitable (grandmother's rosary beads, as an example) *candles are a danger for all and putting them on the altar area (whether, be careful...we've all considered the humorous video clips with nightmare candle incidents at weddings) The bridesmaids can carry something comparable or no longer something in any respect. in specific circumstances even wearing a unmarried flower might properly be as superb as an entire bouquet. merely tie a especially ribbon on it and enable the ends grasp down. She might desire to hold a small fantastically wrapped present for her hubby, mum and dad or in regulations. yet another concept is to hold a scrapbook (elegantly achieved) exhibiting specific moments and how far the couple has come - show it on a stand or table the two on the ceremony or reception internet site for all to be sure. with a bit of luck those help out and furnish somewhat direction. i'm excited to study what others recommend, as properly! i will edit if i think of of any others.... What a distinctive concept, nevertheless!

I got married in the Fall, but it was a boquet of white roses. My bridesmaids had beautiful Fall-colored dresses with flowers to match.

I've been a BM a few times-most recently I carried tulips, but I can't remember any of the other bouquets I carried. For my wedding in February, I will carry some sort of tropical flowers, as we will be marrying in St Thomas.

For our wedding, our colours were pink, lilac, yellow, and light teal. For my bouquet, I had basically a sheaf of flowers - it was a European handtied bouquet of a big mixture of flower types in those colours - stargazer lilies, roses, carns, alstromeria, etc., with trailing ribbons in all the colours. It was GORGEOUS! The bridesmaids had smaller versions of my bouquet.

My bouquet will be black magic roses, burgundy calla lillies and black ostrich feathers (september 2008 wedding). My moh will carry a bouquet of leonidas roses (orange) with three burgundy callas, and my bridesmaid will carry a bouquet of leonidas roses and viking daisies (they look like sunflowers).
