How do I edit pictures in Picasa2?

I'm stuck on the screen showing all the pictures as thumbnails in the Import Tray. I click on a picture and it appears full size to the right, but the only choice is to rotate it? How do I access the other editing features? I checked the Getting Started Guide for editing and it says to double click a thumbnail in the Library and the editing options will appear on the right. But how do I get my imported pictures into a library? (Using XP2) Thanks.

You are looking at the import screen. On the bottom right you need to chose import all, or import selected to bring the images in the tray into Picasa.

Then you will have the full tools available on the left after you double click an image in the library.
