Has the marijuana gone to my brothers head, is everyone in the world in a cult?

my brother who is 22 and smokes weed everyday said to me that everyone in the world is in a cult and that i can get my **** sucked anywhere and if i have a girlfriend she will suck someones **** because i let somebody suck mine, wow i am 20 years old is it this true i would hate to live in a world where my brother is right , he told me he learnd about the world from a 320 pound white albino guy the manager of a cosmetic department store

Honey, I smoke marijuana every day and i don't act like that at all. I know this is your family and I am loath to say anything bad about your brother, but I think that maybe perhaps he has some serious issues that he needs to deal with, and that he is using the 'holy smoke,' to hide from those issues. What you are describing is abuse to himself. Sit down with your brother and see if you can get him to open up as to what's really going on. It could be the peers that he is associating with also. I am the oldest and my family and I have our problems, but if my brother were to ever say anything like that, wither of them for that matter, I would use my authority to put them back in their place and lay down the law. If I belong to a cult, than the only person is myself.

I couldn't say that it was a good thing to be your brother. It sounds like he is crass and doesn't care about anyone but himself.

However, all anyone has to do is examine the word 'cult' to see that it could apply to just about anything. So yes, according to the definition of 'cult' in the dictionary, everyone is in a cult.

Like many words and terms used here on R&S, it has become an insult word, a negative word. But as you see, the word allows meanings which are not so awful.

Therefor you live in the world you create by the views you can or can't agree with. Henceforth what you value makes you who you are... I've smoked pot for over 20 years and beleive me, it will never have that effect on anyone unless they already have a severe mental health disorder, or they are on a much harder drug!
