I have been voting with my "dollar" for many years and many different reasons.
I quit going to pro baseball after the 2nd strike.
Pro football has the same whiners. Their union should do something to make sure the wealth is spread to cover the cost of injuries the players sustain. Military Vets are treated better then NFL Vets.
I was working a job in Vegas in 98 (the last NBA strike). While I was eating breakfast in the hotel lobby a guy asked if I wanted the sports page he had just finished. Without looking up I said there are no "sports" but thanks. I look up to see a rather famous retired NBA player, he just said "your right" and went to the meeting the union was having at Cesar's Palace.
Movies are out with only a few exceptions as I do not know which whack job actor has their fingers in the ownership of the production companies.
I watch the history channel and old movies on TV. Have never watched more than a few minutes of a reality show.
Music. I have XM. Little need to directly purchase anything.
I fully realize that there is some trickle down to the knuckleheads I intend of depriving my dollar from, I just do the best I can. It's like ignoring the Trolls in here with their crazy questions....they will go away...eventually. Rosie O' Donnell is an example.

No... I'm not offended at all - And how are any of you even close to being patriotic when you want limitations on free speech???
Nobody ever called anyone unpatriotic when the Reps were slamming President Clinton during his era... but we all know that the Reps built glass houses next to the Dems those years...
As far as you fighting In Iraq, you are there to liberate the Iraqi people in order to get them new freedoms - when the wmd claim became false, our freedoms were never up for grabs...

i bypass to disagree a splash with the hundreds. -it did no longer take guts to sing. maximum of P!nk's listeners possibly do in comparison to Bush and interior the entertainment marketplace, his call is rubbish good now. She gained no backlash in any respect. -whilst it pronounced some sturdy subjects, asked some sturdy questions, and had some effectual statements, some went overboard and made her sound self-righteous and judgemental. Like "you pave the line to hell". how are you able to declare that approximately somebody you don't be responsive to? Does pink have each and all the intelligence, education, and propose Bush gets? because of the fact the president, he's conscious each and everything it is occurring interior the international that united statesa. is conscious. that's a heck of plenty extra advantageous than pink is conscious. i wouldn't in any respect vote for him if he ought to run lower back, yet i do no longer thoroughly loathe him bc for all i be responsive to, he might have made the suitable judgements based on the information on the time. -i did no longer like the music, it looked like she grew to become into making a music u . s .. it's going to stay to tell the story my ipod tho

You're right, we should all blindly agree with whatever our president does. In fact, we should find some way of showing our support, maybe we should all wear armbands with some kind of symbol on them. In order to show everyone how much we support our flawless leader, we should raise our arms to show off said armbands, all the while goose-stepping down the street.
Pink may be a piece of crap, that I won't dispute, but she has every right to sing crappy songs about whatever topic pleases her.

I wouldn't listen to it, seeing as how my husband is over in Iraq risking his life and my kids are giving up time with their dad so everyone here remains free to talk a bunch of crap about what we are doing there in the first place. I don't think people outside this get what it means to be gone for a year or so and live in a place where you can die any day. And we know a number of men who have given there lives for this, so I say boycott the C

Do you believe in what you say you are fighting for? It seems to me that someone who places such a high value on her "right to be free to sing that trash" wouldn't condemn her for exercising that right.
Maybe that's why some of us question what this war is really all about.

What's unpatriotic about free speech? Just because she doesn't agree with president bush doesn't mean she should have to shut up and kiss your a**. Don't listen to the music. Anyways, your spouting off about "unpatriotic liberal etc etc" is just as bad as anything she might have said to offend you. Get over it.

WE created free speech. That freedom has been paid for with the blood of brave Americans. Unfortunately in is "In Style" to bash Americans and their sacrifice. If this country was run by People like Pink, you would have less freedom, and government would grow until it is unsustainable by our economy. Look at the Soviet union, Cuba, and North Korea. China has realized that their socialist system isn't working. Communism(Socialism) is not freedom.

I actually saw that video for the first time this morning. It has a montage of depressing images behind her....starving children, people being blown up, Bush laughing.....
I actually love the music, and she sings it so powerfully.....too bad the lyrics are so reprehensible. What a waste of good talent. Now she goes in my trash next to the Dixie Chicks.

I'm not a fan of Pink's music, so I don't listen to her, and I don't know the song you are talking about. I prefer real music to music created by computers, so I don't pay attention to most music created today.
