I'm ashamed to say it, but yes. A child I know was being tormented by an abusive mother, and when the mother up and died quite suddenly, I was glad because the father didn't have to spend his life in court anymore trying to protect the child. They were finally able to have a normal life. Maybe relieved is a better word--no, honestly, I was glad.

That would be in great err. Even if it was the greatest enemy of a person it should still be seen as a person lost etc. Understanding another person's error helps not feel positive feelings over one's grief.

Plus when you look at harsh leaders they go to teach a lesson and one could think if there was none to show said example I could be said example. So if a leader finds him above all without submission than this great tragedies occur.

No I cant say that I have ever been happy about anyones death..... I cant imagine a circumstance that I should choose to be happy about someones death, I suppose I feel that in order to be happpy about such an event, I would have to dislike an individual to such extremes that it turns to hate, and in my humble opinion, no one is worth that emotion.

I was relieved when my mother died after being on life support for six weeks. She'd been completely senile for ten years or so. Her death allowed me to finally be able to mourn for her. Now I remember her the way she would have wanted to be remembered.
