has become quite common now for Muslims to always ask their Christian friends to show us where Jesus ever made the statement that he is God and so on, and it has also become common for us Muslims to make the claim that no where in the Bible do we find that Jesus ever said he is God or made it explicitly known. The Christians will counter by bring up John 1:1, to them John 1:1 is the verse they have been looking for, and they most likely tell themselves how is it possible for Muslims to keep on asking where the Bible states that Jesus is God when John 1:1 makes it very clear, here is what John 1:1 says:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

Assuming the translation is correct (which its not, the capital G should be small g, it should read the word was a god, satan is also called god in the Bible yet they give him a small g, but for Jesus a capital!) then what we have here is Jesus who is the word is called God, wow I guess Jesus

Move to John 1:2 in context than:

All things were created by Him and apart from Him nothing was made that has been made.

I mean believe what you want to believe, but sounds like God to me.

There's more but you'd have to be willfully not seeing the multiple claims thoughout the book of John alone, but like I said you can believe what you want to believe--the source material doesn't back you up.

Edit: Mark very nice. I usually don't pull out the greek. If they wanted to say Jesus was a little "g" meaning that he had divine characteristics they would have used the word theios instead of theos.

For the Christians Jesus is 'God' or 'god' (whatever). The Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jehovah is the Almighty God and that Jesus is the Mighty God. The Roman Catholic believe that Jesus is part of the Holy Trinity, Father-Son-Holy Ghost as ONE GOD.

The problem with the Muslims, they want to TEACH the Christians WHAT to believe based on the Christians' Bible!!!
DON'T. It's for them to believe whatever they want from their books, be it the Bible or the Catholic Traditions, or the Book of Mormon, etc.

If in the Bible you can read the Jesus is a Son of God, then He is a God also. A cow can not begets a dog, nor can a donkey begets a snake. So if God has a Son, then that Son surely is like the Father, God.

You're right! Mohammadeans such as yourself win the "I intentionally misinterpret things to suit my beliefs" award.

That's what the Qur'an is all about: cherry-picking verses, changing scripture, and fighting all other religions.

Open your Qur'an and read Sura 109 until it finally sinks in.

You are horrible at this. None of your conclusions are logical. You refuse to see what over 2 billion people see. Maybe you should retire for now until you learn English a bit better and take a logic and reading comprehension course.

Peace, kid.
