Can I let my son drink paracetamol and mefenamic acid at the same time?

He is suffering from mumps virus. His doctor prescribed inosulin and mefenamic acid for pain. However he is having a mild fever. I am not sure if I can give him paracetamol for his fever after I let him take his mefenamic acid an hour ago. Please help me.
