You mean, what of those who don't believe? Will they get to heaven?
There are many religions in the world and everyone is brought up, to some extent, with the witness around him of what his ancestors have believed - even Christians. So, as you say, many have not experienced the Christian God in the way that many others have.
Well, God is not unfair and will always give you the chance first, and he will not condemn those who truly have not had the witness. But he is better able to judge a person than we are and he knows what the witness of himself is that any person has received.
Regarding the Gospel, it has gone out into all the world and, as such, has got into most places by now and - as I said - before, God will not deal unfairly with those who have not heard.
Regarding people who want to be Christians, but there are obstacles (I suppose you mean the objections of the religions they have been brought up in, etc.), yes, it is difficult, but all people have difficulties, of one kind or another, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The simple fact is that, when you receive the knowledge of the truth and you feel drawn to it, if you then turn away you are refusing the advances of our loving God in the full knowledge of what you are doing. He calls you to faith, no matter what the cost, for what he offers is eternal and not temporal, as your life is now.
There are many people in this world who come to Christ at enormous cost. For example, many muslims who convert are doing so in the face of terrible consequences which often follow from their people and, even in the western world, one is laughed and sneered at, villified and ignored. Every religion and society exacts a price of those who turn to Christ of some kind or another, but once the offer is made, shall you turn away from the living God that speaks to you indeed out of fear and - in some cases - cowardice?
If it is he that is speaking, the one true God, then he requires that your answer be 'Yes, Lord'.

Ironie,
I was raised Christian. I used to be a Christian and I did experience the Divine. Then after a long time I realized that Christian doctrine was false. So I stopped being one and continued my relationship with the Divine in another religion.
The story of my deconversion is quite long and complicated, but that's it in a nutshell.

The Lord holds the church totally accountable for the preaching of the gospel and secondly the parents are held accountable by the Lord for the Spiritual upbringing of the children. Jesus made the truth very clear in john 3:18 about those who believe and those who don't!

There are no obstacles. The option is available to everyone. the Bible says that God has made himself known in EVERY man's heart. Don't expect to understand so much when it is all SO much bigger than we are. Just take Him at his word.

Jesus said He will not return until the gospel is published in every nation.
That should give you a clue.

this is one of the biggest arguments for why i believe no single "religion" can ever get it right. just too many people with too many cultures. everyones got to come to spiritual terms on their own volition
