Holy crap. Absolutely not! It would violate so many things our country was founded on.

If they did a Galop Poll you'd be suprised at how many people think that Christianity is already the national religion. There are a lot of dumb people in this country.

I think that if they did a search for the 20 most ignorant and stubborn jack a$$es in the world. At least 18 would live in America.

I don;t think that would be a bad thing, however I do realize that people have other beliefs.

BTW..I do not believe the First Ammendment means what people of today are making it to mean.....It means simply that the Government should stay out of the Church's business and leave people alone to worship as they please.

It doesn't mean we can't pray at public functions, it doesn't mean we can't display a Nativity Scene, It doesn't mean that we have to NOT display the Ten Commandments

Our leaders have lead us astray......................

But only in the past 40 years

All was well and good for the first 200 years until our recent leaders decided we didn't need God anymore

Heaven help them when they have to account for what they have done

I'm a Christian, but absolutely not. Our country was founded on freedom of religion and the government not supporting a state religion. That's the way it should remain.

No, because I don't believe that Congress should make a law respecting an establishment of religion. Even though I am a devout Christian I believe there should be a wall of separation between church and state.

Absolutely not! That would be sinful! I Corinthians 5 clearly forbids Christians to exercise dominion or judgment over non-Christians. Christian governing authority STOPS where the church ends, and the maximum penalty Christian authorities may impose is to put people out of the church.

Hasn't it already happened?
'In god we trust'...
'One nation, under god'...
'God bless the USA'... (who cares about the rest of the world?)
If that idea was put to a vote, it'd probably happen. There's enough xtians in the US to make it happen.
Then the US would be just like the other ****** up countries that are ran by religion (if it isn't already), like Saudi Arabia or Iran, for example.

Absolutely not. That would be the greatest betrayal one could make in regards to this country. This country was founded on FREEDOM, and that includes the freedom to believe and worship (or not worship) as one sees fit, less harming others.

No, because it would violate the First Amendment and wouldn't make it out of committee anyway. Any legislator who voted for it should be removed from office for vote pandering.

As a Christian- No. I do not think that would in anyway please the God I believe in. I believe God wants people to come to Him on their own free will- not have a label put on a nation by man.

No. One thing that makes this country great is religious freedom. If someone wishes to worship a rock, they are free to do so.
