Very interesting question.
I would say no, we are not alone in the universe. Perhaps when the time is right, when we are enlightened enough to solve our own problems, intelligent life will reveal itself to us. Has nobody thought of the fact that other lifeforms may consider us humans primitive and dangerous, what with our wars and politicking, that they do not dare reveal themselves to us?
And yes, moral values are actually (surprise!) relative. A while ago, blood transfusion was considered ethically and morally wrong. We have come a long way since then.
The bottomline is that we humans are a remarkable species in that we learn, we adapt, we move on, and we change for the better.

I have no idea if we're alone in the universe (I doubt the existance of other life containing planets). As far as morals and values go, well, think about it: values may vary through different cultures, but I'm not aware of any society that says rape, or theft, cheating or whatever is ok. Overall, there seems to be an absolute in everyone, in every society. Yes, some people have different religions and all, but thats a different issue. Something has given us a feeling that there should be a right and a wrong, I think thats proof of God!

Exactly the right question. Absolute morality requires God. Only God could set the universe to prefer one type of behavior over another. Without God, it's all morality is just personal preference.

I am unsure if we are alone in the universe.
All moral values are purely relative, and are nothing more than opinion. Concepts of good and bad cannot be observed or tested.

no, just when you want some peace and quite a religious loon appears on your doorstep.
If you hear of anyone with absolute morals, run.
