It is a tradition, because most people have family in town and that usually entails younger generations who are not interested in playing games or watching football or the parade. I go to the bar after Thanksgiving dinner with all my friends and some of my family. After the bar, we find a club that is open to be drunk in and make fools of ourselves. I would have to say that it is a tradition because you can only be in a house full of family and friends for just so long before you start to go crazy from hearing the same stories being retold and wanting to get away from it all. Good times!!!
