I'm looking for an external flash gun for my Fuji S9500 camera. My criteria:

1. AU $200 max (in US dollars that's probably 100-140)
2. Bounce and swivel head
3. GN of at least 30m (iso 100, 50mm)
4. Power control (1/2, 1/4 power etc)
5. Zoom head (desired but not essential)

Suggestions anyone? I'm looking, but not finding ...

3. GN 37m
4. Auto or manual power control
5. but no zoom head

Let's see...I don't believe Fujifilm S9500 uses a dedicated hot shoe, so a cheap flash should be just fine.

Try the Sunpak 383 Super Auto flash.
* 3 auto f-stop settings
* Guide number of 37, ISO 100, 35mm
* Manual power controls 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16
* Swivel and bounce head

Buy the top of the line flash that Fuji offers for your camera. This eliminates any possible problems of camera-flash compatibility.

Buy an off-camera bracket for the flash. You'll need a synch cord but it should come with the flash.
