Hi, I wish to get some kind of experience about people that are living in Canada and Australia and why they made that kind of choice, cost of living, in what of those countries you can get a better chance to find a better position for professional people, health system and costs, and any advice that you can suggest is welcome.

hi, i live in melbourne so i can tell u from this side that i realy love liveing here, its not too expensive, but the clincher for me is that there are so many diverse people from arround the world here, its always interesting. if u dont have medicare here ( gov. health ins.) just get a overseas health cover, and u will have to pay about 30 aussie dollars to see the doctor, look on the website www.immi.gov.au for info on immigration and the word u will hear alot is DIMA ( department of immigration and multicultural affairs) i realy like the lifestyle here, and just so u know my jaanuji from india first went to canada, hated it, then came to melbourne and loves it so much that he doesnt want to go back to india. But it all depends on what you personaly like. the weather here is nice, good scenery, good transport, very good cheap transport, good food from all over the world, lots of cultural events happening each day, awesome education system, but its a pit expensive for international students, though all my buddys managed to pay there fees, lots of part time jobs, not great jobs but jobs r there....i suggest u try and get a job with a company before u come over if u work in a proffessional feild, try WWW.seek.com.au thats a realy good website for jobs... ok good luck, mail me if u want more specific details. oh and by the way i am at work now, so u can see we r pretty laid back attitude in australia! :) ( **** dont tell my boss!)

girly is totally wrong
summers in Canada are very hot, there are beaches on the coast and lovely sandy beaches on some of the lakes.
health care is not expensive and once you are a resident you get health care very much the same as the Australian system, you don't pay for services.it is paid for through taxes
Canada is probably easier to immigrate to than Australia but not an easy process for either country
there are many websites you can look at for each place and check out the immigration sites

Both places are really big and really different. Canada is really cold, no beaches, few jobs in tourism. Australia is the opposite. When it comes to jobs it is basically the same. Ive been told that the health system in Canada is very expensive, Australia you can expect to pay $40 (AUD) for one consultation unless you are elligable for MediCare

My father emigrated to Australia and his identical twin brother emigrated to Canada from the UK. Both families are fine and successful and love the country they came to. We also like each other's countries and many visits have occurred in both directions.
If you want a lot of snow and winter sports, go to Canada. If you want tropical weather, go to Australia. You can ski in southeastern Australia in winter and there are hot summers and beaches in Canada but they do have very different climates.
