if it is, then why is there no peace among them?
if you gather people from different sects of Christianity in one room you'll see that it won't take long for them to be at each other's throat. they even talk bad about each other, with the Catholics being the main target of their attacks.

I agree that we should not fight amongst ourselves, and it make me weep when I see it.
On the other hand, rejecting Jesus Christ for the actions of his fallen and sinful followers really isn't going to be a good enough excuse when you stand before the throne.
Peace and best wishes to you. I will personally try to be nicer to all here.

I have been in a room with "people from different sects of Christianity" and we weren't at each other's throats - although I don't doubt it could happen. People have this perverse tendency to continue being people, regardless of their religious opinions, and Christians are no different. I've seen mathematicians at each other's throats (in one case, literally) over differences of opinion about certain proofs and conjectures. I've seen physicists at each other's throats (happily never literally) over different theories. Differences tend to give rise to conflict.

True Christians are peaceful. The different "branches of Christianity" are not to be lumped together as one for they are really different religions.

Wrong. It was the Roman catholics who killed at least 68 millions Christians during the Inquisition.

Jesus said he came not to bring peace, but a sword. But then he said blessed are the peacemakers.
But no, violence and patriarchal religion go hand in hand. If you want peace, you gotta go with the Goddess.
