I know it's seriously straight forward with the ingredients there, but I need the perfect recipe. ;) thanks you!

*pls keep it simple and light, and hopefully healthy as well.

2 cups bbq sauce
1/2 cup honey,
squeeze half of the lemon

If available, add some chopped garlic, onion, tablespoon worcestershire, tablespoon vinegar, 1/4 ketchup, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup beer, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

Ok, soak the chicken in a brine. Salty water and lemon. You can also add some herbs if you like. Let it soak as long as you can in the fridge. When you are ready to cook the chicken take it out of the brine and pat dry. Grill the chicken slowly and when it's almost done spread the Honey and BBQ sauce on it. Be careful not to burn it. You can even leave off the BBQ sauce and just have lemon, honey grilled chicken.

You can also take it out of the brine and put it in a Crock Pot over low heat all day with the BBQ and Honey in there with it. You would have to add some broth to keep it moist.

Finally, you can cook in a casserole dish in the oven as slowly as possible and add the BBQ, Sauce and Honey at the same time you put in in the oven. Cover with foil and cook SLOW. the chicken will fall off the bone.

Serve with rice and corn.
