i give up asking questions?

im tired of being confused about God and such...i have no clue whats real and whats not...nothiing makes anysense whatsoever....my brain hurts just thinking about it...overly religious people freak me out and i have no clue y athiest seem evil when i no there not...Religion seems to be a bunch of steriotypes or just other ways of grouping people and starting fights...y can something thats supose to be so great create war between people....i just give up trying to make sense of whats true....im going to eat my bon bons get fat...and enjoy life without confusion....is this a religion....Im not saying i do or dont belive in God i just simpley dont wanna think about it..lead my own life as a good person....the end......That is my religion.....and if it doesnt exsit..im makeing up my own

To me, there's only one law: Love unconditionally.
You're right. Leave all this confusion and bitterness aside and be the right person to others and yourself. People will come to know you as one with integrity, love and respect. It doesn't take any religion to figure this out, only a willingness to do good and better.

You're caught in an irresolvable patriarchal dichotomy. The good new is, it has nothing to do with reality.

You are trying to decide between belief in the 'god' of Abraham worshipped by the Jews, Christians, Muslims and Mormons, or nothing at all. Those are not the only two choices. It can seem that way here on Yahoo Answers with all the atheists and Christians fighting, but there are other ways to describe the world.

There are other ways to see the world as a living whole, where everything is connected. You can listen to your own intuitions, you can read about different points of view, different religions.

Take a break, then look into some of the indigenous or Pagan religions like Wicce/ Wicca or Native American traditions and see if anything speaks to you.

The world is not black and white, no matter how much some people try to make it so. Don't let them get you down. The Journey is as important as the destination.

What would you do if there was false money going round? You could study all the fakes, but that would take a lot of time. Wouldn't it be easy to study the genuine money note, so as to easily identify any fake ones?

The true religion should act according to how God's Word says it should. Anything that does otherwise is fake.

There is one thing we know for sure.....we're all going to die sooner or later. What if there is a heaven and a hell? What if we're all going to spend eternity in one place or the other? The average person is on this earth about 70 years. Seventy years compared to eternity is approaching zero. Seventy years is nothing compared to eternity. By not thinking about it and sitting back and eating your bon bons, you seem to be saying that you're not taking any position on this issue. But you are. You're betting on the fact that you're so-called 'made up religion' is true. Better hope you're right. You can't afford to be wrong.

Sir, honestly, I would say that it's an achievement in itself, as you were able to blast off the shackles of putrid religion. To my mind it's a major mile-stone in itself, where road of spirituality starts.

Just live with the question, and one day you will find that questioner is no more present, as a result all the questions will be automatically dropped and you will be free.

Good. That is exactly what God wants you to do. Wading into the middle of all the mess that goes on here is no way to derive truth. Truth lives here, but it is hard to discern. The struggle is not warranted. "Be still and know that I am God." The Bible is the place to learn ultimate truth of God.

here is my advice i would forget about religion, don't let people poison your brain with their mixed up beliefs. find your own path to GOD.
