in Matthew 3:17
"And lo a voice from heaven,saying,This is my beloved Son,in whom I am well-pleased." Also in Luke 4:41,it says that Jesus is the Son of God.
but,in Matthew 5:9,"Blessed are the peacemakers;for they shall be called children of God."
so,..who is the real Son of God???

Jesus is the Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father.
we become children of God by adoption, through faith in Christ.

Ya'shua (Jesus) is God. Ya'shua is His earthly name but as God, His name is above all other names...Ya'hovah - He is of God, The Father and The Holy Spirit. A Godhead, so to speak. It was through Him, by Him and for Him that all things were made and it is through Him that we live, move and have our being. Jesus as God created the Heavens and the Earth along with His Father...then He created us in His own image breathing the Breath of Life in to man by His Spirit. The Angelic host that rebelled did so by teaching man to sin against God. So, we are children of God in that He created us...but He is the Only Begotten Son of God the Father. Just as your son would be human because you are a human father...Gods Son is God because He is God the Father. The Father and The Son are One in the Holy Spirit being self existant and eternal. It is after this family that the earthly family was created. The Father is one parent...just as when you marry you and your wife become one. He is King of all Kings and there is none higher...but as well, His Son has that same crown and that same privaledge and so as God, He is King of Kings..but not two...ONE...He and the Father are One. Its a tough concept to grasp because we are conditioned to remain independant of each other as humans...divide and concur. However, God has said...Any that come to Him become part of Him and He will remain in them and they in Him. You achieve this by extensive Bible study. Jesus was the Word and the Word became flesh so that no man would perish but all would have everlasting life. His Word is now in your hands and you are to consume it with all you have as daily bread for life. This is alot of information jammed into one reply but I wanted to say as much as possible on this because its important. We all become children of God..but as created beings...little ones that He has made. Jesus (Ya'shua) is Ya'hovah by divine right...the Son of God. Its all there in the Word...just continue to study. Son of God is a title that people who will be saved, will get it. There are diferent positions of that title. Compare Job 2and you will find more information about the role of the Son of God.

The difference is that Jesus is God's only BEGOTTEN Son - that means born of flesh and blood. All Christians are spiritual sons of God.
