Ok well I'm a 19 year old girl and a virgin.I just want to get some opinions on something here!
Do you think two virgins having sex for the first time together can work?
Alot of virgins say they'd rather their partner was in the same boat as them.
I don't agree though.I think it could be very akward and even more painful for the woman.
In my opinion a virgin girl would be better off with a more experienced lover who knows what to do and can be gentle.
I think I'd like a more experienced guy for my first time.
Whats your take on this?

Your first time should be with someone special, regardless of experience. I completely disagree with you: 2 virgins who are completely in love & trust each other could have the most romantic, electrifying experience ever & in the knowledge that it's a "first" they are sharing together & won't ever get back. It sounds like you are having sex for the sake of it & although that is your decision, just make sure you use protection. As for what you said about a more experienced lover being more gentle, that depends on the guy - just because they've had sex with a lot of girls, does NOT mean they know what a girl wants! & you could be left feeling nervous that he is comparing you to his previous lovers.

It doesn't matter if the guy is experienced or has no idea what he's doing: it's more than likely going to hurt for a girl having sex for the first time.

When I lost my virginity, I lost it to my then-boyfriend of a year. He was a virgin too, and when we had sex, it was more than a physical bond.. we both shared that special first moment, and it wasn't really awkard, even though neither one of us knew what we were doing. We just laughed it off and went with it, and it was a great experience, even if it wasn't textbook perfect.

Sometimes I feel awkard around a guy who has had a lot more partners than I have.. it makes me feel almost embarassed, like he's judging me and comparing me to other girls he's slept with. And I think that if you're having sex for the first time, it's better to be with someone who is either a virgin as well, or has had one, two, or a low number of sexual partners. Then again, one partner doesn't mean he's lacking experience.

It just depends on how you feel. Would you feel more comfortable with someone going through the same experience as you, or would you feel more comfortable with someone who has done this before and can direct you on what to do? No matter what, though, just make sure that you choose the right guy.. no one-night stands for your first time! :)

Actually it is not as complex as it seems if u take on proper lubrication and then do sex. Then i don't think their would be much of a problem. But ya its a fact that a more experienced person would be able to provide more pleasure. But still u should stick to person u love not think of experience much. Also the pain factor will not be changed whether an experienced or inexperienced.

It should be with someone you care about and rest will work itself out.
If you do it with someone who is experienced you may feel a little awkward or embarrassed because you are not sure what you are doing and do not have the same skill he may have. On the other hand, if it's with someone who is in the same boat as you, you can have fun together because there are no expectations.

Communication is the key. Telling one another what hurts, and what doesn't. If he's being too eager and aggressive tell him.

Now I'm a virgin, and waiting until my wedding day to have sex, but they say that if the girl is on top it's less painful.. She can control how far the penis goes in, pace of thrusting, etc. Not mention, guys love the view. *smirks*

Would you like to experiment? haha j/k It doesn't matter, but the more experienced guy would be more aggressive, but if wanna take it slow, go with the virgin olive oil, i mean virgin. Do you have a BF?

Two lovers experiencing sex for the first time can be fun. It's not rocket science, eventually you'll both figure out where things go and the fun of getting them there.

I prefer to think of sex as a very intimate coupling of two unique individuals. No one has teh exact same DNA as you or your partner does.

Which means, I think, that sex works as long as two people are working together to make it lovely for the other.

personally me and my girlfriend were both virgins the first time that we had sex, and sure it was a little akward, but that's part of the fun of sex. if we were all good at it our first time then we wouldn't have any fun learning about what we and our partner likes.
