What the heck is an "NGO"??

And if this NGO is related to community service, why haven't you completed it in the last 7 years?

(for the other person who posted, an NGO is a "non-governmental organization", as is the term used by nonprofits outside the USA)

You say that "for some reason" you had to stop your NGO. That's vague. WHY did you stop your NGO, and how can you assure potential donors that this reason won't happen again?

You have to rebuild trust among those you want to serve, those you want to volunteer for your organization, and those you want to donate to your NGO. To start, you need to gather together people who might be willing to volunteer to restart this NGO with their time and, perhaps, their financial support. You need to state what YOU will be giving (how much time? How much money?), and you need to show that this NGO is needed. You need to convince this core group of local people that this NGO should be restarted and that they should invest their time and energy in making it happen. You also need to convince them that this NGO is the best way to address whatever problem/support whatever issue it is that you want to support (as opposed to another NGO, the government, etc.)
