I don't just mean biblically, but what do you believe. Do you think time is the same there? What do you do for eternity? Are there buildings or structures? What do spirits look like?

*sigh* Seriously, I know if you're Athiest you don't believe in Heaven, I respect that. Many brilliant and educated people have followed various religions over the years, so I don't understand the condescending responses. I was just curious how other people, perhaps even people of different religions, viewed the concept of 'heaven'.
Isn't this a place to ask questions? Does it even matter what I believe in order to find this subject interesting?
thanks to all that are answering seriously, I appreciate it!

I'm an atheist so I don't actually believe in "heaven"
But if I did and it was truly a great place it would be a simple rural/medieval society. Except there would be no disease or pain.
Or perhaps everyone gets their own private place where they do exactly what excites them all the time.
Or perhaps it's just a black nothingness where you can monitor your loved ones and never feel ill, or afraid, or anything negative.
And of course any Heaven that I'm a part of would need animals. If it didn't have animals it wouldn't be worth it.

I have done several studies and as far as I can tell its 5th dimentional. Because its in another dimention we cannot comprehend it. But we can comprehend 2 dimentional.
Ex,
Piece of paper with a circle drawn on it. Put a dot in the middle of the circle. 2 dimentiondally that dot cannot get outside that circle. Us being 3 dimentional can pick that dot up and place it outside of the circle.
Now with that same consept if ghosts or heaven or spirits are in the 4th and 5th dimention, then they can walk through walls and can reach inside us and remove the cancer from our bodies and never touch us.
I know thats not much of an answer but as a scientist that has always made the most sense to me. Chad G

i believe it will be perfect. with nothing at all wrong. i believe there will be no sadness or grief. although the knowledge of the 'unsaved' will be evident-it wont be dweled on
i believe in heaven that time doesnt count- a 'day' may pass in heaven but 100 years on earth. i dont believe anyone can know for certain but really, i dont need to know. and i probably wont think to ask in heaven either~other stuff on my mind hehe~
ive read books where people have been resurected(up from the dead) and they say that people look the same-but perfect-no wrinkles ect..
i think that you would just spend time with others, be in absolute awe of god and.. well ill find out..
i reckon there will be a massive golden city and a throne,
grassy fields, animals ect..-all the best things we can imagine..
when i was little, me and my siblings used to, in all seriousness, talk about what animals we were going to hold, bears, tigers, ect
i hope ive been able to help in my answer..

If there was a heaven I think it would be like a time share. You pay out the @ss for a place you only get to visit a couple days out of the year. Not that I believe in a magical place in the sky.

To find out what heaven is really like you have to hear the minds of the delusional. So I ask you - what is heaven like?
Edit: Juju - I`m sorry for the condescending remark.

As an agnostic speaking logically, if heaven exists then there would be no "time", because I'm assuming it would be outside of the space-time continuum. If it wasn't, then it couldn't be "eternal".
If a god (or loving creator-thingie) does exist, then I'm SURE he's not like the hateful Abrahamic one. He'd judge us only for how we loved ourselves and others, and there'd be no hell.

aside from the Scriptures, how can anyone know? That's just vain and empty imagination, n'est ce-pas?
Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world [men] have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, [what] he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1Cr 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
