It's possible to go back and forth between eating disorders.

You need to speak with someone about body dysmorphia, I would start by telling your parents you would like to see your doctor. She can probably get you the help that you need!

Good Luck

Yes, it is. You are lucky, because you have caught this after only a month, and you are able to admit that it's a disorder. It's not too late to turn it around.

If you starve yourself, you will binge-eat. And if you binge-eat, you will feel gross and make yourself vomit (don't call it purging - it almost makes it sound like it's an ok thing to do). It's a vicious cycle. So, here's what to do: start eating more, but SLOWLY, and HEALTHY food. You could even try eating a reduced-calorie diet to start with (around 1000 calories) while your body gets used to eating again. Eat 200 calories for breakfast, 300 for lunch and 300 for supper. Make sure it's low-gi food like whole grains and vegetables. If you're not starving, you won't binge later.

But even though you've caught this early, it doesn't mean you can fix it on your own. Something has gone seriously wrong, and you need to speak to a doctor or psychologist (and your parents) about how to turn it around for good.

PS: try throwing away your bathroom scale and taking down your mirror for a few weeks. Also, ban yourself from reading fashion magazines. Society has this sick grip on women's bodies, and you need to loosen its hold.

Yes, you have a cycling eating disorder. Tell your parents and then get to a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. They may even suggest a group. You have underlying issues to work through.

For your info, purging is a nasty habit...your glands get all swollen and bulge out of your neck and your teeth rot because of all the stomach acid you are bringing up. Just 2 things to think about.

Eating disorders are often a way people try to get control of their lives, bit the illness gets to control you instead. Try not to fool yourself.

Good luck to you.

You are suffering from Anorexia as well as bulimia. It's a very dangerous combination and you need to be followed for it. Go seed your family Dr. and be honest with him. He should then refer you to the proper therapist. usually that starts with an evaluation with a psychologist or psychiatrist.
I am very proud of you for addressing that you have a problem. that's the first step in overcoming a difficult disease
Good luck in your search for recovery!!

When you limit your calories so drastically, your body will send you uncontrollable urges to overeat to compensate. Limit your calories everyday, but give yourself enough food to sustain your health. Try to get at least 1000 calories a day. You'll still lose weight, but you'll be less likely to succumb to binges.

You need professional help. I'm somewhat surprised your parents have not already noticed a problem, but now is the time to tell them. This is a classic progression of this very dangerous behavior. Please ask for help.

You need a professional hon. This will only get worse and jeopardize your health for good if you don't get help. You cannot handle it alone.
