only reducing your body fat percentage will slim down your waistline.
Sit ups and crunches only build muscle - they dont burn fat and we cant spot reduce body fat.
find daily calorie intake calculator, enter your stats and find maintenance intake- take off 400-600cal and you will lose eating that much a day.
use fitday.com to track your intake
eat 5-6 small meals a day -make healthy food choices - complex carbs, lean protein, healthy fats, dietary fiber (5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day) etc.
cardio is the only fat burning exercise, 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week
at least 8 glasses of water a day
no candy, junk/fast food, fried food, nothing made out of white flower, no processed foods, no sodas

Besides cardio, diet. Weight lifting is another form of exercise that is good when combined with cardio. But diet is the most important facet of losing fat...creating a calorie deficiency in your body as often as you can will cause your body to use up the stored energy, such as the fat surrounding your stomach, instead of the energy available in your stomach from consumed foods.
And since so many people are suggesting crunches...crunches do no more for your stomach fat than bicep curls, bench press, or squats. In fact, performing a bench press or squat would probably be a better choice of exercise because those will burn more calories than simple crunches (per rep). All crunches will do for you besides burning minimal calories is build up your ab muscles...which doesn't mean squat if you have a layer of fat over them.

What do they say when buying property, location, location, location well in the health and fitness world it is Nutrition, Nutrition, Nutrition. If you are not eating correctly then you will not change like you want. My recommendation is get a grip on what you are eating and how many calories. Then incorporate Cardiovascular exercise at least 4 days a week and a minimum of 20 minutes and gradually increase from there. When losing fat you MUST do resistance training at least 2 times per week, like an overall body circuit, quick and easy. There are no quick fixes, just knowledge, consistancy and desire will get you where you want to be. Good luck.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

it is all about the diet. keep a food journal and record your calories, protein, and fat (for beginner journalists). try to get at least 100g of protein (this means eating stuff like egg whites - boiled no yolks, cottage cheese and fruit, chicken, and tuna) and keep your fat grams under 20 grams a day. Also, try to keep your calories under 1500 while exercising and strength training moderately.
it is hard but if you really want to cut to the fat without those pills at GNC or surgery....this is the way...you'll be surprised at your food habits once you actually record everything!

me too... im starting to eat better and excersise. I don't think there is anything else you can do other than those two things. Crunches helps alot, but you need to mix it with cardio because just doing crunches will give you definition, but if its hiding under a layer of flab (which cardio will fix) its no good.

I know people always say cardio or diet but I don't like both. Um I think cardio is the fastest way sadly... I do crunches and cardio.

crunches are supposed to help, but just good diet lotsa water and plenty of exercise both aerobic and anaerobic exercising all parts of the body as well as cutting stress levels should help with the annoying belly bubble

lifting weights works better for me than cardio. Also, don't eat a lot. It seems that as long as you cut down your portions you can eat whatever you want. Also, do ab exercises.
