I think that he does like you. Next time there is a movie in class, maybe you could go over and sit next to him. That would help him know that you feel the same way too.

No way to know if it's serious like/love, but he's definitely attracted to you and most likely at some level of crush. The ball is definitely in your court in terms of encouraging him or turning him away.
