well as an 11 year veteran ...sadly i'm not that old i'm only 24 i say why not go have fun drink too much and make a few mistakes...you can read everyone elses opinions and all the websites you wont but boozin has different effects on everyone some can handle it some can't...i can drink tequila like water and never get a hang over but if i drink beer or whiskey i'm sufferin in the morning... the only way you'll know what works for you or what you like is to go and try it just make sure you don't drink and drive

I don't know about any websites that will help you make your decision but I can tell you that you are old enough to make your own decisions. It is up to you to decide. I can offer a little insight though. You only live once and in order to experience life to its fullest, you have to try everything at least once. I would say go ahead and drink to your 21st birthday because if you never try it, you wouldn't know if you like it or not. Make sure you have driving arrangements or money for a taxi. Good times and happy birthday to you!!!

ok, number 1. The good things are its a drink, so you wont go thirsty, and also they taste nice. It makes you feel good, and puts you in a good mood. The bad points are that too much can be dangerous and you should know your limits as to how much you can drink. It's also a depressant drug (but its legal lol) so again too much and in the morning youll wake up feeling like poo. Another thing is too much can seriously damage your liver and brain, so be careful. Basically go ahead, and drink alcohol, but dont go over the top, just to impress your friends or something.

Why not? It's not dangerous if under the right environment. If it's your first time make sure you have a trusted friend with you to make sure you don't over drink or do something dangerous (if you're too drunk, you won't know what's going on). Especially since it'll be your first time, you may want to take it slow just to make sure you are not allergic.
Moderation is key...

Stay away if you can.Other wise, stick to mild forms like beer or wine. Alcohol is popularly called an ice breaker ie to lower inhibitions and thus making it easier for people to mix and socialize. However, nobody has ever come out happier from use of alcohol,in the final analysis.

from my experience drinking only causes problems, never once have a woke up and been glad I drank, whether it be that nasty broad I woke up next to, or the head ache, or the giant poo that next morning, or the fact that you spent a shi t load of money and all you have to show for it is some nappy broad
