If you have ongoing diarrhoea this is not likely to help you much, but it is probably harmless while you are waiting to get an appointment. NO GP has a waiting list of 2 months!!!!!

Imodium can cause big problems if you overuse it. I have read of it killing children.
If you have a diarrhea problem, try taking
pectin type fiber or some other fiber supplements that will absorb water from your colon. If you have cramping, try peppermint oil massaged into your abdomen and/or peppermint gel caps for colon problems. These things work. Also if you can get some bentonite at the health food store, take that one to two times a day and see if it helps.

no this is not a good idea are you lactaid intolerant do you often have diarrhea after drinking milk eating cheese or ice cream try keeping track of what you eat for a few days something like this might be triggering it, there are many reasons you could be having loose stools. try taking a couple of Metamucil tabs a day this should bulk your stool up if not you really need to see a doctor

Next year!?! Surely not. Immodium shouldnt be taken longterm, it should only be used for short term relief of diarrhoea or it will cause problem with your bowels. You might develop IBS which doesnt goes away, it can only be treated when it flares up.
