no. they usually don't test for those type of medications. unless they are specifically testing for it, you won't fail your runofthemill drug test for a new job or athletics

I had to take a drug try as quickly as. I merely stated that i'm taking Tegretol and Zoloft and no depend if it is going to cut back to rubble the try. Nurse stated no. I examined sparkling all ideal. merely tell the nurse which you're taking Zoloft and Xanax and in case you get carry of the time in the previous the drug try, deliver the prescription papers or the bottles with you, merely in case.

Zoloft is a SSRI. The drug tests never test for those.

By the way, if your sister ever tells the pharmacist about this, it becomes an illegal prescription and medicade fraud. The government is very serious about cracking down on medicare/medicade fraud currently.

Jobs don't bother checking for it because they don't particularly care if you're on Zoloft. They only check for the illegal stuff.

I feel bad that you can't afford the Zoloft on your own... just be aware that transferring a prescription from one person to another is against federal law. Might Prozac (which is now cheap since the patent expired) be an alternative for you?

Good luck with the new job!

it completly depends on what they are testing for but the anwser is probably no. if it is a "drug" test such as for a job or something like that the anwser is no. they are only testing for narcotics, barbituates, and other illegal drugs. Zoloft is not a controlled substance and shouldnt pose any problem.

as said before, it wont show on routine 'drug' test, but it can be tested very easily, should they want to.
