I've just finished reading Waleed Aly's People Like Us which is about how a deadly combination of arrogance and ignorance by both Christians and Muslims is fuelling fanaticism. People who claim there are no Muslim "moderate" critics should read this! He also criticizes some "liberals" and discusses how the concept of jihad has been distorted.

All these so called and sometimes actual experts and scholaras on Yahoo answers and only two of us have read this book? AAARGH!

People like us is Waleed Aly's first book and hopefully he has many on the way. He is a Australian lawyer and a noted Muslim community leader. He does a fantastic job of putting Christians and Muslims in proper relationship to each other.
