They were the first humans and they lived a VERY long time compared to the animals. Adam lived 930 years, so I imagine that human remains would have happened only after the death of many animals.

They arent the first: after all, Scientists just found the fossil of an 8-foot scorpion. Also, the scientists had discovered a skull or something of an ape-like creature that was supposed to have evolved from another beast, and therefore should not have both been alive at the same time, but what I thought is: all the species wouldn't have evolved all at once; it would've taken a long time, therefore of course the 2 species would have lived together.

Adam existed c. 7500 years ago, He was the first in a cyclic line of Prophets which came to humanity to teach Law, Scripture/writing etc.
See the historic record and you will find this was the time of the advent of both law and script. See Genesis again and you will find that Adam's children married others already existing in the world at His time.
The overlooking of these basic features of Genesis by the masses in no way proves that Genesis is a poor allegory, but it does prove that people do not understand it. For example, no evil apple is ever mentioned in it, any more than the nursery rhyme, Humpty Dumpty, mentions an egg...
"Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall -
All the kings horses, and all the kings men,
couldn't put Humpty together again."
It is all blind imitation, something St. Peter called its like, "the useless traditions of their fathers..."
No egg, no first "homosapian", but a first "Man" who was a perfect mirror of God, i.e., the image and likeness Who was perfect enough to begin teaching humanity its natural limits of the age, and how to overcome them...
Now consider the modern age, and what a mirror we have today of God... Baha'u'llah
We are now becoming one united world, no matter how much we protest having to grow into it; with ever increasing powers over the natural world, no matter how much we try to reject our responsibility it entails - It Will Happen to its fullest, and we must accept it, or perish in our self-induced, wars and misdeeds of nature, science and religion....
God bless.

Adam and Eve never existed. This story in only fiction. Somebody way back in the hay days had to give people an explanation of how it all started. Maybe that story seemed fit.
Now that we know about evolution and that man evolved from apes, and God only knows what came before that, we can rest that question.

Adam and Eve are supposed to be the first humans, not the first life-forms.

they were the first people, but they were not created until the 6th day. the animals were created first, so there's no contradiction. if you read carefully, the order of creation in genesis is the same as the order that evolution describes.
and of course since the sun was not created until the 4th day, we're not talking about 24-hour days, but periods of time that might have lasted millennia.
