A "coyote" is someone who runs illegal immigrants across the border between Mexico and the US for money.
Some coyotes do just that .. get people into the US for say $3,000 per person. There is no guarantee of success or even satety.
But some people Pretend to be coyotes and rob and sometimes rape and murder people who are trying to get in the US.

Rapist and Murderers should be death penalty. For simple trafficking, 5 to 10 years.
Addition. I just checked the web, and found Idaho states simple trafficking gets a max of 25 years. I am horrified. I found out today, I'm a liberal.

Sigy, even the coyotes are starting to become desperate. They can't compete against the Mexican government, and the Mexican airlines. So I think in some way already they are being punished. My question is what punishment should Mexico's Government, and their airlines get?

I think the coyotes should be shot by a firing squad. Just as those duites are still perform in Mexico.

Coyotes should be punished for human trafficking which is a violation of someone's human rights. They steal, some rape, some even murder people who want a better life. They are scum if you ask me.
They should be held accountable for these crimes.

I guess there are certain potential consequences when you hire a criminal to help you break the law. Of course it isn't safe and there is no guarantee of success. I am for large fines and long prison sentences for all coyotes that successfully smuggle people into the US. If they hurt or kill them in Mexico that is for the Mexican authorities to deal with. It is not our business. If they hurt or kill people here we have laws to deal with them here.

They should get whatever punishment is generall handed down for whatever crime they commit. In the case that the only crime is transportong illegals, I think they sould be charged the same as someone who is found to be smuggling drugs across the border.

They're only robbing and stealing from those that Americans wouldn't rob or steal from. Have a heart.... grant them amnesty.
