I usually average $100, but I've been going to another beautician that costs more; now its like $130/month. I get my hair pressed every 2 weeks; costs $65 each time.

up until recently I was averaging a couple hundred every month. I buy hair products that average 20 per bottle. I also was getting my hair conditioned in the salon every week which costed 20 each time.... plus shades which was around 30 and then a hair trim every 5 weeks... that was 35-40... yea... i spend rediculous amounts of money on my hair upkeep... but i've decided to give it a break for awhile... trying to go more natural and do more at home conditioning treatments because i've found they work just the same.

i have finally questioned the shop i have gone to as it is never the same twice. i usually get shampoo / blow dry 1 x a week and it ranges for 10 to 6 to 13 . my usual tip is 2 dollars and i will give 4 if i am squeezed in or forget to schedule / girl works me in or does something special for me. the issue seems to be each girl in my place charges different . i am told it is a different judgement in terms of a length one says short , one says medium and one says long. i know my hair can't change that much between frequent cuts ! lol .
then the issue is told my hair is one of density. i think they are just trying to overcharge and i am shopping for a new salon. i have it cut every 7 weeks approx. i pay about 10 more for that. for every service that has shampoo / condition it costs a straight 5 even. that is the only number that ever stays same.

i buy a shampoo / conditioner it's about 20 for both and it can last 3 or more months as i only use 1 x a week cause they are doing it 1x.

i can't afford and will have to find a salon that has set price so i know how to budget. i'm going to compare prices get a negotiated figure and then change.

About $5.

I don't go to salons, I haven't had my unique dye job redone in 4 months- before that it was $35 once every 8 weeks, and my last haircut cost $5, since it was an end trim.

So the rest is shampoo.

I don't get a hair cut every month, but with products, I guess it is around 20 bucks. 50 when I go to the salon.

Shampoo - about $4.
Conditioner - about $4.
Mousse - about $4.

So, about $12 a month.

A trim every 3 months, which is about $20 each.

Total about $224 a year.

i spend an average of $5 per month. I get a trim every 6 months and make my own shampoo and conditioner - keeps my hair silkier than chemically processed stuff.

Honestly if you wear weaves about $100 for hair, $100 for hairdresser, for braids $150 for hair &140 to get done, but that lasts about three months.
