I've been with this guy for 3 years. At first I liked the fact he was proud of his heritage, and I started to become infatuated while learning about learning about Judaism. He's Jewish by heritage, but we're both atheists. Since then, it has gone DOWNhill. Him, his brother, dad and friends laugh and joke about gentiles. It's like we're the lowest creatures on Earth. Earlier, him and his brother were talking about how Jew's naturally have a higher IQ than white european's and african american's (by 30 pts). His mom isn't full Jew btw.

This goes on nonstop. At least once a day I hear something about how Jews make our life so great. What should I do? Am I stuck with it? His brother is worse, he only keeps friends that are Jews (most celebrities which you should know).

UGH! He just tried telling me that Muslims are worthless!!! I'm sick of it.

He's not Orthodox for sure, Reformed I think. Although he hasn't been to temple in 10 years.

Seems to me your fiance has an inferiority complex and is in dire need of a psycho- analytical evaluation. If he refuses.......dump him.

Its one thing to be proud of your nationality, but keeping only Jewish friends is exactly the same as someone keeping only white friends. They would be called a racist. Someone saying someone of another religion is worthless IS BEING RACIST. You ever notice that nobody ever calls a Jew or black person racist? We were all crap to each other, had a few years where everyone got the same rights, then people started turning on whites. Its the slave labour all over again (ok, thats exagerating a bit).

Tell your fiance you're happy that hes so proud of the contribution 'his people' (cant think of a better way to phrase that, sorry) have made to society (and they have, pretty much every religion has) but can he tone it down? If he doesnt respect you enough to control himself, even if its just when you're there, hes not worth it. And I'm fairly sure that no race or religion is smarter than the other (granted, Einstein was Jewish). Theres always a couple of smart people in relion, and quite a few more dumb people.

You must think what makes a person do this? why feelings are causing this. try to make him or them conscious of this. Once a seed is planted they will think about it at least. You should follow up by a strong point. Maybe "the chosen" has went to his head. Well Jewish people were chosen to do something not due to superiority. Does he Now Abraham wasn't Jewish? same goes for Ruth and David. yes they are Jewish because what they sought or were raised but by blood no. Also Talmudic law requires one to be raised Jewish or the mother to be Jewish. You said his mother is part? Back to "The Chosen", the Jewish people were required to uphold the law etc. being your boyfriend seems to not be doing that.

Either way, I suggest you approach this in a non damaging manor. People can feel really hurt when they are using something for other reasons and someone tells them they are wrong. I also hope you both work it out and he can see the errors in thinking.

If I were you, I'd give him one chance to stop being such an *** by sitting him down and telling him just how dumb his prejudices are.

If that doesn't work, to the curb. Life's too short for such idiocy.

OK, see... if he identifies as a "Reformed" Jew, he is identifying with a certain sect of a theistic religion, and not just a cultural or ethnic background. That's not really in keeping with atheism...

Dear Friend,

Is this really the person you want to be married to for the "rest" of your life? I think you ought to think about your relationship with this person very closely because it looks to me, like your headed for trouble before the wedding bells ring.

Note: Marriage is a commitment and if your already having problems about not being on the same page, believe me, if your already having communication problems, etc. getting married ...does not fix problems. They will only escalate.

Sincerely in Christ Jesus,

lostnsavd...

Yes, definitely ask him where he gets his information from? There might be other great Jews, just like there are other great races, but your fiance is certainly not one of them.

If he thinks Muslims are worthless, ask him about what are the Muslims contribution of Science. That would show him he is ignorant.

If you're not happy with this guy, then you need to get out of the relationship, because like you said, it's been going downhill. It sounds like you may already have one foot out the door, now just walk on out.

God Bless

i'm atheist and that i attempt to stay sparkling and robust life. "there are some people who rather dont care approximately how ethical they're except the terror of god or an prolonged detention center sentence is placed into them" actual.

Okay, what? He cannot be BOTH Jewish and atheist. That's impossible. Jewish is a RELIGION, not an ethnicity. I wish people would get this right. He's pretty ignorant if he is proud of being part of an arrogant and incorrect religion when he also claims to be part of no religion.

If you've explained this to him and he still doesn't get it, I'm not sure why you'd be with him. He doesn't sound like a very nice guy...

If it's bothering you now, just think how it will be after you are married. Especially with children involved. Better look down the road and be honest with yourself.
