Yes, so long as the car's insured for you, taxed and MOTd, you become the holder of a full UK driving licence the minute the examiner hands you the pass certificate.
I'd advise taking a photocopy of it to keep till your licence comes through, or even just a note of the certificate number and your licence number. That way if you do get stopped, the police can check your details.
Good luck!

Yes you can drive straight away, keep a note of the number on your pass certificate in case you are stopped by the police because it may take two or three weeks for your licence to come through, when you pass your test take some advice and do the Pass Plus with your Instructor, you will save a fortune on Insurance

If you pass, the examiner will take your green photocard and paper bit and send it off for you free of charge. The pink licence will drop through your door in a couple of weeks.
You will also be given a blue test passed certificate. Its valid for two years (or in your case until the pink licence comes through your door) and if you are pulled over by the police it shows you passed your test.
So yes, you can drive immediately. As soon as you get home, get on the phone to get your insurance sorted out and get out there and drive.
Good luck.

Yes, you can. Just whip the L plates off and away you go.
It might be an idea to give it a little while so you have the chance to calm down, though. That's why driving instructors usually drive candidates home after the test, they're either excited if they passed or depressed if they didn't.
Good luck.

Is it YOUR car or your PARENTS' car?
Might want to get some practice with another more experienced driver on board.
Probably ought to contact your insurance agent to assure that you are properly insured. In some States (and some insurance companies), if you are NOT listed as a driver, you aren't covered.
Check it out with your local insurance agent.
Good luck, drive safely and I hope this helps!

In NEW ZEALAND at least you can drive. The testing officer gives you a paper with your name on it. This is valid for 21 days and your photo id card normally comes in 7 days
