I thought the word "Born" was good enough, and I never claimed to be good at spelling. but the question was really simple, yet any answers I have gotten aren't even answers.
Just things like "duh, most people have brown eyes!" or "Brown eyes are most common" Proof that not one of you has read my ENTIRE question.
Most CAUCASIAN babies Are born with light eyes, so how common is it to be BORN with brown eyes if you are CAUCASIAN.
I give up on you people.

Most babies are born with gray or blue eye color. However the genetic make up of parents also includes recessive genes from 1st-2nd-and even 3rd generation grandparents (your great-great grandparents)
About 12% are born with brown eyes.

Yes,you are right and the answer you are looking for is very few are born with brown eyes. You use the word babies here, but not in your main question, which people are getting confused about.Your question should read some thing like"how many babies are born with brown eyes" grammatically.Phrase it that way and people will under stand immediately what you are asking.

Yes I agree with you, 'most' Caucasian babies are born with blue eyes although there are the exceptions. When my daughter was born she had the most beautiful brown eyes, she has just had twins of her own and one was born with blue eyes and the other has brown!
Oh' and sorry to correct you but it's Genealogy not Geneology.

Maybe you will get a proper answer when you learn to ask a proper question.
My sister was born with the blackest eyes so it is definitely possible to be born with a different eye colour than what MOST are born with ... as for how many are born with different eye colour... I don't know.
Finally, learn to spell and how to apply grammatical rules before you start to insult other people's intelligence... you are a rude little brat.

i have looked at ur question, i have looked at ur previous one in geneology. my conclusion is that u are raving abt sth so insignificant and thats why we can't get it.
u were born with brown eyes, so was i but then am african. most chinese, japanese, indian and african babies are born with brown eyes. count the populations in those counties and u will find that most babies in the world are born with brown eyes. no big deal to us 'brownies', but maybe u'd like to tell the yahoo community what really troubles u abt ur eye color?

NO BABIES are born with any other colour eyes than blue..... NO BABIES INC YOURSELF. The colour of the eyes at birth can and do (in some cases) change very rapidly from blue to another colour (in your case brown). Apparently you can see them change colour when babies eyes are first opened.

okay for god sake if it will shut you up. lol
the Melanin in your eyes was probably formed much faster. could have been something to do with the amount of protein your mother had in her diet at the time when she was pregnant with you, and the different hormonal factors. simple answer - the melanin in your Iris just developed faster.
