Hold one end of the ribbon in your hand between your thumb and the palm of your hand, leave a little extra for the tail on this end of the ribbon, then loop the ribbon around the palm of your hand leaving about 1 inch extra in the loop in other words the loop will be 1 inch bigger around than the palm of your hand,
just overlay about six loops one over the other, then slide the loops off of your hand and fold the whole loop in half, then wire with floral wire in the center, this will be the middle of the bow, with the excess ribbon on the last wrap you made, make a small loop over the center of the bow and run the floral wire thru it as well and twist off the floral wire and fluff out your bow starting with the inside of the loops you made and follow thru in sequence to open up the bow. Sounds hard but it is really the easiest bow to make, you may have to practice a few times, I usually use two coordinating ribbons and eliminate the center loop on the bottom ribbon and make the second colored ribbon bow just a little smaller than the first then add the top smaller center loop on the top ribbon......
so here it is in simple terms,
start with the tail of one end of the ribbon, leave enough of it to hang down at the bottom of the bow, wrap the ribbon around the palm of your hand hanging on to each loop and leaving about one inch of the loop beyond the palm of your hand, make six loops, slide the ribbon off of your hand and fold in half to find the center, wire the center of the bow with floral wire and with the tail on the finishing end of your wrap which should be on top of the loops, make a smaller loop and give it a twist so the front side of the ribbon will be facing out when you complete the bow and run your floral wire thru the small loop and twist floral wire on the back side of bow,
Note, leave floral wire long enough to attach the bow to the wreath....
