A person walked up to the Ka'bah and detonated himself? Or what if a large group of people decided to turn the area around the Ka'bah including the structure itself into housing? What if the Ka'bah were destroyed, and all the pieces and remnants mercilessly destroyed to make way for a relic for a different religion? And what if, in that new building, the people who destroyed the Ka'bah gathered to pray but also to preach intolerance of Muslims everywhere? What if a small group of people drew up plans to blow up the Ka'bah? What if large groups of people gathered on festival days to throw stones on the heads of those worshiping there?

What would happen not only in Mecca but in the entire Muslim world?

I welcome all answers, I would sincerely like to know.

I don't see what's wrong with the question. It's not meant to be offensive and I can't find anything in it that is. If you don't like it, you don't have to answer it.

Are you kidding? People would go nuts! You can't just take the holiest site of a religion, claim it as your third holiest, and then generally ban members of the faith to which the site was originally holy, letting only specific individuals come at pre-negotiated times and prohibiting them even from praying while at the place. It's a shondah (a crime, disgrace), and a chutzpah at that! Surely if such a thing happened, the usurpers (even if they've usurped the spot for centuries) would be condemned by the international community, and the local government (in this case the Saudis) would retake what is rightfully under their jurisdiction, and a part of their heritage which had obviously been stolen from them - and in this the aforementioned international community would no doubt support them. I'm only grateful that such a thing as you describe in your hypothetical scenario has never happened in real life.

...Oh, wait. Nevermind.

I will only tell you what happend to people tried that before
God says in the Quraan :
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah].
Did He not make their plot go astray?
And sent against them birds, in flocks,
Striking them with stones of Sijjil.[a place in hell]
And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle).

:)

Muslims all around the world will start a war against who conducted these horrible actions and you can't blame for that. What are you trying to lead us to? I am against what the Palestinians do to the whorshiping Jews in Jerusalem.

I think either way is a sin against God. This will bring a well deserved punishment for all involved.
B, I understand now how I confused you with outhouse. You are both large in mouth but short on understanding of the facts.
Ultra, One thing God really seems to enjoy is human humility. If you ever find some let me know where to get it. You have excellent study materials, obviously, but do you really think you are a genius? do you think God gave you this gift to use to abuse others? Including Him?

There would be a lot of mad Saudi people and Muslim people who would probably attack whoever blew up Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem and the Kabba.
