Because we are by nature creatures of wrath. We are tainted with original sin and by sinful choice willfully hate God and refuse to obey Him.

This is why salvation is so amazing, God saves those whom do not want it and does so to glorify His Son for the work He did on the cross.

Simply; because we are not God. Human beings are flesh and blood therefore, they sin. Even, the apostle Paul, sinned after 17 years as a Christian convert. (See: Book of Romans chapter 7, verse 23). Sin is the natural state of human beings. Only by the GRACE of God, extended to us, in God's lasting love do we humans have hope. "Who will deliver us from this body of sin"? ... Paul asks .... (the answer is: "God will" !)

I have no idea what sin is. I suspect I do not do it.

Why would God be "against" something that he knew would exist before he created the universe, if and when he did? Who is he trying to impress by pretending to be hurt and shocked?

To wit, if you believe the bible and what it says, you must also accept the beginning of John's gospel which said "Through him, all things came to be, and without him, nothing came to be."

Some might say sin is an absence of love. The bible teaches it is more than that, it is an active CHOICE to do wrong, which would make it one of the "all things" that came to be through God. So, if God made sin, then sinners are simply doing God's will.

We do not have free will, as far as anyone knows. To say otherwise would give us power beyond the confines of the Universe's physical laws. This point in time may be in our future but it is certainly not now. We live in a clockwork universe with constraints, causes and effects, even down to moment-to-moment brain chemistry which permits some behaviours while denying others. We do what we do because we have no free will. Not because we have free will and we choose evil.

Everyone who is everyone sins on this planet. That is why God Sent down His Only Son to save us of our sins. Have you ever heard the saying Jesus Died For Our Sins, Well Thats what exactly it means.

Its because we are imperfect humans, we cant help it, we try not to but sometimes it just happens, it all started when the first humans adam and eve were on earth and the evil satan made them sin, so we being there offspring inherited sin, but greatfully when the new system comes and all bad is destroyed we will not be imprefect, therfore we will not sin:)

This world is a test for humans. According to Quran we ll are given a free will to chose between the path of God or the path of Satan. If we chose the path of God and obey his commands (which by the way takes only a few minor adjustments to the way we live our lives) we will be put in heaven. nd if we obay our own hims and fanies i.e. satn we end up in hell.

I don't even know that any gods exist, much less know how to define sin. Given that the bible doesn't say anything about rape or child molestation being sins, I don't think it's much of a guide either.

Sin is tangibly fun. God is imaginary. Do the math.

because we can justify it in our reality, if we think it is okay and we know it is not and we can rationalize it, it makes it okay. People rationalize murder (abortion??), people rationalize cruelty (they deserved it), etc. They rationalize sin, and think somehow that it makes it all okay....even though it isn't.

We do not put our complete trust in God and allow Satan to lead us to his way of thinking. Just this one time, it will be alright......
