No it isn't abnormal. If you don't clean the house, and you weight 300 pounds and are generally unhealthy and living in a pigsty, then I would be concerned with you watching too much tv. Having a wonderful family and all that is a good ambition, don't let anyone tell you that makes you unmotivated.

Abnormal is not the correct work for your situation. Couch potato comes closest.
What isn't in your head is the full appreciation of your time, talent, and ministry. Your life IS a ministry. You have something to do that involves working for yourself and the betterment of others around you. To the degree that you failed to figure out what that is....the TV is you enemy....keeping you from taking action.
Watching TV is a passive, entertainment activity. Most of us enjoy it for a while but also realize that there is life beyond the TV set, that entertainment cannot take up the majority of our time, that life involves being up and at SOMETHING!

You can only be you and nobody else it is your life and it is your choice the way you decide to live it.
people can only add suggestions but in the end it is still up to you.
At 22 you are still young and have plenty time to find out what you want to dream or pursue .
someone once told me to sit down and wright down long term and short term goals this will jog your thinking and may help you decide what you want.
And as far as a perfect family be careful on how you define perfect it is very important that when you choose your goals that you choose realistic goals so you don't set yourself up for disappointment .
and last you must find out what motivates you ,sure it's good if you have people in your life to motivate and push you but don't depend on it because people in your life you may or may not find that they are here today and gone tomorrow but you will always be were and who you are , so depend on yourself to motivate you so when or if people come and go you are still going forward in the direction that you are pursuing.

Not wrong. But think about this. You can be living and enjoying your own life, instead of watching other people living and enjoying theirs! Peace!

Wrong may not be the right word.
Look around you, many people your age feel the same way.
Welcome to modern America.
