Bone deterioration is caused by bad calcium digestion. Your blood calcium levels must be maintained within a very tight tolerance or you die. The body is quite incredible in how it regulates the calcium in the blood at all costs. When you are deficient in calcium, the blood draws the calcium first from your muscles and then from the bones.
Bone mass is not the same as bone quality. The illustrious medical profession and drug industries have concocted a grand product that is used to fight osteoporosis, so they claim. This product merely generates more bone mass, but does not address the quality of the bones and the only ones that win on this one are the drug companies and doctors.
Phosphorus competes with calcium and when you drink sodas that contain phosphoric acid, (and most do) you cause the calcium to be depleted in your body and then the aches start happening in your muscles and you also lose calcium from your bones so the body can maintain the blood calcium levels.
Additionally, if you take antacids, your body will not digest the calcium in the jejunum because the pH is too high when it enters there. So, the calcium becomes the problem, not the solution and it ends up in the body in places like the eyes and causes cataracts, and in the skeleton as bone spurs, and kidney stones.
Osteoporosis cannot cause bone deterioration, Osteoporosis is a condition caused by the things I've mentioned above. The drug companies know all this and yet, they still make antacids that are destroying people's digestive systems, instead of telling people the truth and how to solve the problem of acid reflux and acid indigestion so easily. In fact, when questioned on the problem with calcium absorption being interrupted by antacids as they were being challenged by the FDA when trying to get them passed, the drug companies cleverly said ALL their tests showed that the BLOOD CALCIUM LEVELS were not affected by the antacids! Of course they weren't or the people would have died. But, they failed to tell the FDA that the muscles and bones would be depleted of calcium from that garbage. And to make matters worse, the FDA, said O.K.
Thank you FDA for protecting the drug companies at the public's expense.
Thank you doctor.
Thank you drug companies.
Thank you FDA.
Simply amazing, isn't it that the richest country in the world is now ranking 24th in longevity and fast becoming the sickest nation in the world.
good luck to you

Drinking carbonated sodas can causebone deteriation. I know of a 16 year old with the bone loss of a 75 year old person because of he number of crappy soda's he drank. Fortunately a good diet of fruits and veggies can fix that over time.
